Tuition Free Remedial Classes

Poverty poses a significant obstacle to accessing quality education in Africa, including the Gambia. Obtaining a good education is one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty in adulthood. Education is widely recognized for its substantial impact on future earnings and overall success. It serves as the bedrock for young individuals to develop their cognitive abilities, overcome societal challenges, and become valuable, income-generating members of their communities.

Our tuition-free remedial classes address these challenges by offering tutoring and homework support to at-risk children and those with learning difficulties. This initiative aims to prevent school dropout and ensure that children stay in school, leading to improved academic performance, increased school attendance, and higher completion rates.

Through our program, we strive to achieve the following outcomes:

1. Increase in Years of Schooling: We provide at-risk and underprivileged children and young people with access to free tuition study classes, textbooks, coaching, and qualified tutors. By offering these resources, we aim to extend their years of schooling, ensuring they receive the necessary support to excel academically.

By addressing the barriers posed by poverty and providing educational support, we empower children and young people to overcome obstacles, improve their educational prospects, and ultimately enhance their future opportunities.
